5HarmfulEffectsOfMobilePhonesOnYourHealth

Following are the 5 harmful effects of mobile phones on your health:

1.Negatively affects your emotional health:

Research suggests that mobile phones have negative effects on your emotion. When two or more people are in conversation, the one with mobile phone nearby is perceived negatively, even when the topic of conversation is positive and interesting. On the other hand, research suggests that people conversing with someone having notebooks in their hand have positive effects and brings a feeling of closeness.

2. Increases stress levels:

Mobile phones emit high frequency radiations which can negatively impact our stress levels. The constant ringing, vibrating alerts and reminders can put a cell phone user in stress and in general make your life extra stressful.

3. Increases risk of illness in your immune system:

Making hands contact with the mobile phones can harbor germs on your mobile phones. The greasy, oily residue on your mobile phone after a day’s use can contain more disease-prone germs than those found on a toilet seat. These germs can easily transfer from one person to another through mobile phones.

4. Increases risk of chronic pain:

Mobile phones require constant use of your hands. Long hours of mobile phones use, and wrong postures of sitting can invite pain and inflammation of your joints. Back pain is also found common with increased use of mobile phones, especially if you use phone while multi-tasking.

5. Increases risk of vision problems:

Staring at mobile phone’s screen for long hours especially in dark room can cause vision problems later in life. Mobile phone’s screens are comparatively smaller, which means viewing it for long hours will cause more strain to your eyes and hence more vision problems than viewing computer screens for the same amount of time.
